In the way of renovate the Schaublin 13, it is time to manage the lamp support and its connection. Lamp is attached to the side of the machine and, in the interior, a small junction box would be desirable. I tailored a made-to-size box of steel sheet.
One of this summer works have been to finish the cabinet of the the Wörner B13 drilling press. It was mainly a work of covering the steel frame support with MDF. The final desire is to get it prepared to fit the electrical wiring and a set of drawers to organize the tooling of the machine.
The Boley Leinen lathe acquired a new attachment: an old Waldmann but serious machine lamp (WD 306). I got the lamp from a ebay bid and replaced some of the components that where worn by the use. It was a surprise to discover that Waldmann served the spare parts with no problems although we are facing a really old model. Great!

Altivar 312The lathe comes with an classical electromechanical wiring. It has an original Bauknecht 2 Kw and 3 speeds motor (720, 1450, 2880 rpm) . It was originally a 3 phase 220 V motor that in some moment was rewound to 380V. It has two speeds in a dahlander winding and an additional speed in an ordinary winding. Note how big and sturdy is the motor enclosure because of the number of speeds:
